Loring Development Authority (LDA) is redeveloping the former Loring Air Force Base property, now known as the Loring Commerce Centre, to attract new opportunities for employment and create new economic activity by reutilizing the extensive real estate assets and supporting infrastructure left by the US Air Force.
To do this, the Authority will identify the precise buildings or other real estate assets that are uniquely suited to facilitate a business plan, and will develop attractive business terms, giving businesses located within the Centre every possible opportunity to grow and prosper. LDA also facilitates interaction with other state and regional economic development entities to optimize available programs and incentives. Finally, LDA will assist with regulatory approvals needed to conduct business.
